Wow...

So after a long hiatus with the build, mainly because I was in between jobs, I finally made a little progress.

I recently bought a set of ISIS control arms.  Although they are inexpensive, and people have mixed opinions on the brand, I feel they are satisfactory, at least for an entry-level set.  Though, for me, these are only for an OEM replacement, since my original parts were failing.  These WILL be replaced with higher quality parts later on when I figure out the direction I take with my motor.  The next update is likely to be a while from now.

Update after the rain...

Bought an Apex-i N1 muffler off my friend, went to a shop and had custom 3 inch piping welded and installed.  It's surprisingly quieter than I thought it would be, given I'm still N/A.
Here you can see the new antenna I purchased to replace the OEM non-retractable one.  This is the Shark Attack II antenna from Lo Custom.  The plug wasn't compatible with the OEM cable so splicing a different plug was needed.  No big deal, it look ten time better and more sleek.
Here's a photo of the car lowered on Fortune Auto Coilovers from Import Image Racing.  Love the aggressive stance it gives...now if only I had some wheels to go along with it...
This must be my favorite picture from the whole set.  Great scenery, shiny finish, and of course my lovely angry eyes.  (Still needs wheels)

Minor stuff done

So in the huge time frame from when I first got the car until the time of writing, I've done a few minor things.

Headlight went out so I replaced the bulbs with HID's.  There was an atrocious Betty Boop sticker hidden under the old tint, so I had the guys at Best Tint in Stanton, CA give me a good tint job.  I'm very pleased with how it's turning out so far.

I've got some Fortune Auto Coilovers coming today, actually should be here pretty soon since they've been on delivery for the past 8 hours.  I got them from Billy at Import Image Racing.

Coming up on my next post I should have new wheels, coils, and exhaust installed.

And so it begins...

So I first got my original kouki S14 in January of '10 to replace my old zenki.  Here are some pics of the car right after I got her:
